Julie has been working with companion canine animals since 1988. She has worked for several training schools where her specialities lie in junior and problematical dogs. She owns The Dog Club Grooming Parlour, Training School, Behaviour Consultancy, Casting Agency, and is team leader for The Dog Club Therapy Dog Programme.
She is an accredited member of the Animal Behaviour Consultants of South Africa. She received a certificate in Companion Animal Behaviour from Pretoria University in 1999. She also has certificates in Animal-Assisted Activities and Pet Grooming from Pretoria Technikon. Julie has published several newspaper articles on dog poisoning.
Working with companion animals is her full time occupation and she has five staff members, which she likes to refer to as her extended family. She is a licensed animal wrangler. Julie has also received Certificates of recognition from Dog Training Schools, Animal Anti Cruelty League for outstanding service and dedication and the SPCA for recognition of extraordinary support of the Johannesburg Society.
